I don't know if any of you have ever wondered about the difference in cheetah and leopard prints, but I was wondering so I looked it up. Cheetah spots are solid black and leopards are multi-colored rosettes. I think my jacket is kind of a fantasy cheetah as there are gold and dark brown solid spots.
I really, really appreciate the comments my readers leave each day. I have wanted to be able to comment back to many of you, but not everyone has an email attached to their name. Blogger doesn't have a good way to respond to comments, but I found a site that helped me do a hack so that I can respond to you. My comments will not appear directly below yours, but your name will show at the beginning of my comment so you can see to whom I am responding. You will have to subscribe to the comments for each post or just come back and visit again. Again, I really love comments, it lets me improve both the blog content and my outfits.
I actually really like the color of the top you have on under it but I love gold too and I think it would look great as well!

Forever 21 has some great stuff--period. I just have to be careful I dont leave there thinking I am 16 again....lol
ReplyDeleteLove your look--and I like the fantasy animal prints. Some rule said, whatever you do, do a real animal print. Well I have a purple, leopard print jacket and I love it!
Oh, and I did an oopsey--I didnt have you on my blog role! So I corrected that--sorry!
You are finding your way and doing an amazing job! Keep going! You are doing GREAT!!! You look fabulous in this utfit!
ReplyDeleteHave a pretty day!
I love the "fantasy" cheetah - it looks great and you worked it beautifully with the other pieces. Like you and Paula, I am a F21 junkie and I have a lot of their jewelry. It lasts long enough, in my experience, to get a very good cost-per-wear : >
ReplyDeleteYou look great, Debbie, and your accessories are incredible. I have purchased several accessories at F21 and so far (knock on wood) everything has held up beautifully. I agree the price is right!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your animal print top!! WOW!! FOR SURE...F21 has the best deals on jewelry!! You can seriously clean up in the accessory department! Kiah
ReplyDeleteThe close-up of the top was a good move. From a distance it's animal, close-up you've got an interesting combination.
ReplyDeleteIf I am not in a hurry I go through Forever 21. It can be overwhelming. I got a cute scarf there this summer. I like to look at their window displays. The skirts are always way too short but I'm not going to buy one there anyway. The combinations are interesting.
What happened about the NYDJ? I think I'd be looking for more pants like the ones you've got on today. They're keepers!
Great new top! I highly suggest learning to sew a basic top. If you can get a straight line down on a machine, they shouldn't be hard to make. (Decent) material is so expensive where I live since crafting is "going out", so I usually tend to thrift and tailor.
ReplyDeleteIs that metallic Tom's? I love them! I've been admiring tom's for awhile as a casual shoe. I haven't made the plunge yet. Also that F21 necklace is actually really cute. I'm often overwhelmed by their stuff, but I really life the geode feel.
It's been a few years since I've browsed the jewelry in F21...may have to make a return visit.
ReplyDeleteYour animal print jacket is a great find! And in winter, I can picture it with a black tee!
I am sooooooooo glad to see your bigger photos and close ups.
ReplyDeleteBravo, my friend.

Any skirts coming??? LOL.

I'm with you....F21 has amazing jewelry at crazy prices! I think this may be my favorite look of yours thus far! You look fabulous and elegant! Huge hug to you! ~Serene
ReplyDelete@RoseAG Rose, I still haven't gotten my NYDJ hemmed. I have just been busy this week. I think I am trying to go all the places I want to go before it gets too cold and all I want to do is hibernate.
ReplyDelete@Megan Mae Yes, they are the metallic Tom's. They are the herringbone with metallic gold.
ReplyDelete@sacramento Oh Sacramento, I know you love skirts, but I have very few and it is rare that I desire to wear one.
ReplyDeleteI agree that a gold top would look good under this this outfit, but it really looks great on you -- the fit of everything is good (especially the pants). Who thought that we would all embrace the jeggings trend the way we have?! I echo your comments (every one) about comments :-).
ReplyDeleteDebbie this is one of my most fav. outfits on you so far. Great look. Beautiful necklace. Hope you are enjoying your weekend darling. Thank you for droppin in. I have to look at my boots again, maybe they are cheetah. Dawn suitcase Vignettes xo
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing outfit - you look really chic :-)
ReplyDeleteI think of leopard as a great neutral!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through Donna's, "Rock the Silver" and I'm glad I did.
ReplyDeleteI like the leopard top :) I've been looking for some "comfortable" jeans but haven't looked at WalMart (I don't go there much).
That jacket is wonderful! And of course your jewelry is fantastic!
ReplyDeletethanks for playing,
grrrrrrrrrr!
love the pictures and great blog, follow you <3
ReplyDelete@Colleen Thank you, Colleen. I do love my Walmart jeggings. They have become my go to jeans as they are so comfy. I can move around and not feel constrained by the waist of the pants.
ReplyDeleteWow! Love that animal printed jacket and your accessories! That silver shoes also complements well with your outfit, eh. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
