Since it was 58 deg F and really windy today, I wore the tweed jacket that I purchased a while ago at a local consignment shop. I will be taking some of my things to that shop on Nov. 16th; my first ever consignments!

I think this necklace is one of my favorite non-retail purchases. I know I probably would never have gone in the consignment shop had I not seen so many wonderful things that my fellow bloggers have found via consignment and thrift. What is your favorite consignment or thrift purchase?
I adore that necklace! I love oriental things. Oh and I lvoe your boots too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful necklace. I too love oriental things, especially in a subtle way. Cute ankle boots! Hope you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thrift purchase is my red and black sweater dress that I wore for my 21st birthday. It fits me wonderfully, is a wool blend, is vintage, and cost me maybe $4!
Wonderful outfit, Debbi! The necklace is so unusual and such a fab statement piece. So glad you are starting to feel better, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are feeling better. It's good to see you again. And your outfit is fab. That necklace is stunning. I'd love one like it.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you back!! MEGA COOL NECKLACE...I love it! And your complete look here is wonderful...I really like the tweed with the necklace. Great job!

Read your comment over on Hostess of the Humble Bungalow, I workout 5 mornings a week for an hour and it's never shifted a pound off me either, but yes I'm fitter. I really don't thin exercise works that way unless you are training like an athlete each day.
ReplyDeleteLovely jacket, I almost bought a pencil skirt just like it last week.
The colors in your necklace, jacket and boots are perfect for Fall.
ReplyDeleteLove, love the tweed jacket! I have the desire to "steal" it for my wardrobe ... no wonder you received so many compliments. I'm glad you're recovering from your illness, all my good wishes to you
ReplyDeleteThe tweed jacket has a beautiful color mix which makes it very versatile.
ReplyDeleteA great piece which is really flattering on you.
It seems, you feel sooo much better now!
Debbi, this necklace is splendid! I love the worldly feel of it. I have so many favorite thrifted treasures, it would be hard for me to pick just one, however I am wearing one today--a vintage red wool Pendleton pencil skirt. It would rock with your sweet tweed jacket!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to thank you so much again for your sweet comment on my blog and for reaching out to me with your story. It really meant a lot.
Everytime I think of tweed, I think of Chanel! I love your jacket and those boots are super cute! Kiah
