I am not sure why, but lately I have been wearing a lot of black. My outfit for today consists of black, white, and accents of blue in scarves. I wanted to show two different scarves with the same outfit. I ended up wearing the more vivid blue one in the second photo.
I love the jacket I am wearing. It is a very soft leather with a patent snake print on it purchased several years ago from Chico's. This scarf is from Brightly Twisted, a Michigan company. The scarves are dyed and manufactured in the USA from imported fabric. Each scarf is uniquely beautiful. (I am not affiliated with the company in any way and purchased the scarf myself.)
Harry decided to perform a 'stuffinectomy' on his ball toy. Stuffin' was flyin' for a while.

I like the pop of the blue, on both scarves, against the black & white. That Harry, he seems like a character!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous jacket! Thanks so much for linking up!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better, Debbi!! Black and blue is very in...so look at you hot off the runway! I love your scarf!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the nasty headaches, they do immobilize us, don't they? Hope you're feeling better and you certainly *look* great in this fab jacket with multi-scarves. Hey Harry - you've got a very mischievous face! Thanks for linking up.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your headache. My sister gets them as well so I know how terrible they can be.
ReplyDeleteI love both of the scarves, especially that first one. The way you tied it is great!
Harry's on a mission. The scarves look great and you're right, they do really liven up an outfit. Hope it's an all clear with the headaches. They are no fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful jacket! The scarves are amazing too. I'm sorry the headaches are still bothering you. It's never fun to be ill. Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon. I'm wearing the jacket you sent me in today's post!

ReplyDeleteSo sorry you have been afflicted by dreadful headaches Debbi. It has not dimmed your style; the jacket is gorgeous (feel my envy!), and both scarfs look wonderful. Cobalt blue is one of my absolute favourites!!

ReplyDeleteI like both scarves but the first is my favorite. Sometimes the glow of the screen bothers my eyes. I recently received a smart phone and trying to read on that little screen is enough to do me in.
Hope you feel better this week!

ReplyDeleteLeather jacket and scarf are so pretty. Your dog is so cute and so huge!
ReplyDeleteYou dont usually do black! And I love the accents. The dog is so adorable too. Hope yoou feel better.
ReplyDeleteYou do scarves so well, and you know I love the leather. Hee, Harry gave that ball heck!
ReplyDeleteI've been craving the dark side too- lots of black are sneaking back into my closet. Practical, easy to match and well, just chic. Love your little flats!
ReplyDeleteI love black and white...so classic. The beautiful color of the scarves adds a wonderful touch.
ReplyDeleteLove the scarf, and the dog is the perfect additional accessory! (Bigger than mine, and mine are both over 100lbs!) The jacket almost looks sequined, which is a terrific effect!
ReplyDeleteI am glad to know that you are feeling better, and posing in blue, my dear Debbie.
ReplyDeleteMuch love, dear friend.

Debbi--I'm so sorry to hear you've been feeling poorly. Know what it's like to get miserable headaches!!
ReplyDeleteI love your base outfit--and both scarves are STUNNING!!! I'm with you on how a scarf can jumpstart an outfit!
Harry is so cute destroying his ball!!
dear debbie,
ReplyDeleteyour leather jacket is amazing. i think a cute black leather jacket is one of the basics a woman should have in her wardrobe. i love the shining of yours. to add the blue scarfs is a good idea, can not say which one i like best, both are pretty.
i see that harry is doing the stuffinectomy with high concentration, good boy!
I love how you wear black ... looks great on you. And every other color, actually. Aren't scarves and a little sparkle the best for current casual dressing? One of the best things ever to happen to a sequin is letting it see the light of day!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel much less achy very quickly.
He loved the stuffing right out of that ball!
ReplyDeleteBoth scarves are great accessories with that gorgeous leather jacket. I too love scarves and find them everywhere I go, mostly at estate sales. They're an inexpensive way, as you say, to jazz things up. Harry is another way to jazz things up!
ReplyDeleteI love your style tips about using scarves to dress up an outfit! So true and your scarves are always beautiful, Debbi!!! ~Sarah
ReplyDeleteI've been wearing scarves too! I agree, they can dress up any outfit. I think I am partial to the first one. I love all your brooches, I have a collection too, but not as extensive as yours. I don't wear them, but will keep 'em.

Love how you pop on a different scarf, and the super results each gives. Off to have a peek around your blog...J
ReplyDeleteGreat colors in the first scarf.... My favorite.
ReplyDeleteGlad that headache ran it's course and is gone. How miserable you must have been :((
Oh, you are so right about scarves spicing up a look, and you do it so well. You look very polished with a teensy naughty or fun edge with that fantastic patent leather jacket. Wow! Harry is also a showstopper with his stuffinectomy LOL! I hope you feel better. I've been absent for a while - work, life - so it's nice to drop in again.
