See, there really is pastel in this outfit. Left side of picture: bracelets: Silpada, Coldwater Creek Right side: My new Scarab Spoon Bracelet, Michele watch, Yurman |
Scarab Spoon Bracelet From Etsy Seller The Bead Ladies I had them add some beads to the center of the bracelet. I am obsessed with all things Egyptian. I have been since I was quite young. |
I have decided that my Michele Watch and my David Yurman bracelets are part of my signature style. I wear them so often that I feel a bit naked without them. Even though Yurman jewelry is expensive, if you figure cost per wear they turn out to be less expensive than some of the costume jewelry that I have bought and worn very few times. Do you have a signature style piece that you wear all the time?
What a lovely and unique bracelet! Still love that birdie shirt too.
ReplyDeleteI wish I DID have a signature piece! And now I think I want to go through and find one....I love that whole idea and your signature pieces are FABULOUS! Hugs! ~Serene
ReplyDeleteLike Une Femme, I really do love the birdie shirt. Your silver spoon bracelet is quite beautiful, I am going to look at that store tonight. And the bracelet you sent to Megan is also so, so lovely.
ReplyDeleteDebbie that birdie shirts is one of my favorites and your shoes are the bomb. So in style right now. You could diy the soles into a pastel....just sayin. Harry is a cutie doll. I am slowly recovering. You know all about it darling. Dawn Suitcase Vignettes xo
ReplyDeleteLove your bird top! It's very cute. So is the scarab bracelet. I love insect/"creepy" fashion wear.
ReplyDeleteI like to change things up frequently, but you know I like star-things! But I don't wear any one thing every single day.
Your bucks are terrific - I'm going to look for a pair. (Pat Boone flashback.) Dawn's idea of dying the soles is genius. You made that bracelet much more interesting when you added those stones. (I also love Egyptian things - I like reading Amelia Peabody books by Elizabeth Peters. I was a volunteer when the King Tut exhibit was in Seattle.)
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to link up. I'm not to much of a pastel person either unless it's a saturated color. Otherwise I look washed out.
ReplyDeleteYour jewelry is beautiful as always. My birthday is coming up soon and I just told my husband that I saw some costume pieces I liked and plan on texting the photos to my sons so I don't get another damn candle!!!
Happy hump day. Oh, wait you're retired you don't celebrate those little non-victories anymore!!!
Have a great week and hope to see you soon!
Heard from Dawn tonight. She is still in a lot of pain but sounds like she is on the mend.
I think your favorite portrait, the fellow who so frequently appears behind you, tells us that deep bright colors are your favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love the white bucks!
Love the bracelet!!! I love the bird shirt!! The outfit is really cute!
ReplyDeleteWe all have posts like this when things don't show well or don't show at all.but that's what real women blog about .We ain't proffessionals.Lots of nice braceletes I notice. It seems that bracelets are your favorite.
ReplyDeleteAngie,
DeleteYes, I do love bracelets. I've never counted how many I have, I probably should. I have collected them for probably 40 years, so you can accumulate a lot during that amount of time, especially since I am a jewelry nut.
Oh, I love the print on the blouse! And that ring you found on Etsy is a nice one.
ReplyDeleteThe little birds on your blouse are sooooo cute! Beautiful scarab spoon bracelet.
ReplyDeleteOh yes i see the cute little birds!
ReplyDeleteI love all your bracelets Debbie!
Thanks for dropping by my blog
Have a nice weekend

I just bought a bird top today. I adore those little birds. I wonder if Old Navy still has this! Love Yurman! My signature piece is probably my stud earrings. I wear them pretty much daily and I have to have a watch! Kiah
ReplyDeleteForget rules! Wear what you want. The only fashion rule I follow: there are no rules.
ReplyDeleteI'm dying over that bird top!

Bracelets are a passion of mine. If I'm not wearing stacks of silver bangles that I've been collecting for over thirty years, I'm wearing stacks of wooden ones, woven ones, beaded ones etc. As I'm writing this, I'm wearing no less than four large-ish ones on each wrist. Your collection is wonderful and I really enjoyed looking at them. I also love the shoes in your outfit pics.
ReplyDeleteLove, Jean
I like how you remix those accessories...and I can imagine your birdie rhinestone necklace must be beautiful too. The birdie top is super cute, I would wear that in a heart beat! The design of the spoon bracelet is exquisite!

ReplyDeleteI really like this outfit on you. You look so happy in that first picture, and that's what I see. Really love your bracelets (I think I like the Yurman bracelets best). You really have some beautiful accessories! But your shoes? Love, love them.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like everybody is switching to disqus comments. I really need to do that.
ReplyDeleteI like your jacket and the pretty embroidery, and I know what you mean, i definitely feel naked without my bracelets and rings on! I can never have enough silver!
