Friday, I got my hair color weaved. Brenda, my hairdresser, used 3 colors--blond, dark brown, and a purple red (that I chose.) It is certainly different to see myself in the mirror! The colors will no doubt fade, but right now they are certainly visible.
A couple of my items today are from Etsy. I really like to shop on Etsy because I can find things that are very unusual and unique. I also like to support small businesses or individual artists and Etsy is one way to do so. If you have never visited it here is a link to it> Etsy It can be as addictive as Pinterest!

My friend, you are visible today! I love your new hair, your scarf, and oh my, those spats are cool. Thanks so much for linking up your great look to Visible Monday.
ReplyDeleteYour hair is so cool! I love it that you weaved in purple read...you have the courage I love to see in ladies; The scarf is gorgeous and makes me want to go to Etsy right now and the spats are also super cool! You knocked your visiblity out of the ball park today!
ReplyDeleteI love the new hair, I don't like my hair one solid color either. Finally, after many years, I have started to use my hair as an acessory and play with it. I love the scarf too!
ReplyDeleteYour comment almost made me cry! Thank you for being so sweet. I would love to see a close up of the new hair color! Kiah
ReplyDeleteYour new hair colour looks amazing! I am thinking that you'll be the belle of the ball...on visible Monday!
ReplyDeleteClose-up, close-up on the hair! I always admire hair that's not just all one color. Even if it's got a shot of "red-purple" I think it looks authentic, and grows out more gracefully.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great scarf. I can't buy any scarves on Etsy because I have a good friend who earns pocket money painting scarves, but I can say with experience that it's a nice design with workable colors.
LOVE the hair!!! The scarf is stunning!! The spats give me some ideas.....
ReplyDeleteHey Debbi - love the new "do"! I've tried to go darker a time or two but could not get use to it and always go back to blonde! I love the blazer and scarf - very nice andddd.... Visible! The spats are great too! I've often found cool items on Etsy - can be addicting!
ReplyDeleteLisa, I will probably go back to blond too, but it is fun to do something different once in a while.
DeleteGreat hair and a beautiful shawl...I greet...
ReplyDeleteOmg I LOVE the spat idea. That's so cool. Your hair looks great. Congrats on going for the new 'do! The scarf is very interesting as well. I need to find more etsy sellers to purchase from. Of course, you know my fav harness makers - Mark and Audi! are on etsy.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of spats. Do they make them for men? My husband - who is 6'7" could use a pair to hide his socks.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the hair. I find the key with highlights is to have more than one color weaved in to give contrast and make them look more natural.
I do shop on Etsy sometimes. Usually for scarves, like you, and jewelry.
Happy Monday! xo
Adrienne, yes they do make spats for me. Just go on etsy and search for spats.
DeleteEverything went well, thank you my dear friend.

Someday, I will be brave with my hair colouring. Yours is inspiring, for sure, and spats? How cool! That scarf is beautiful, and I think Etsy could be a very dangerous place for me.
ReplyDeleteI've gotten some good vintage pieces from Etsy.
ReplyDeleteThe scarf is just gorgeous! In my efforts to avoid temptation...I'm avoiding Etsy!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scarf! And those spats are so cute. I've been looking up diy's for boot covers.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, I have never heard of spats until now thank you very much. They are abosolutely adorable on you. I will check the site. Yes on the hair, it looks great on you!! Your little friend has to be in the photos, huh? I see him there at your feet...too cute. He likes your spats too. Dawn suitcase vignettes xo
ReplyDeleteYour spats are awesome! I've seen so many incredibly unique and beautiful things on Etsy. You really know how to shake it up. I love that you put purple/red in your hair. It's scary going for a new do but, oh, how deliciously exciting too. Good one.
