Last week I asked you all about listing brands of clothing shown in my outfits and the consensus seems to be to list them. I often learn of new companies that I wouldn't have heard of if it hadn't been for information other bloggers have shared with us.
A couple of you commented that I looked like I was glowing. I think it's the 7.2 mega-pixels and bad lighting! We had some pictures taken at a local studio and I am pretty sure there is no glow. I rarely wear any makeup in my pictures and don't really do much in the way of skin care. I may do a post about products I do like. I think that it is very helpful to share our experiences with products.

I cropped this from a photo of me and my sister taken Saturday. |
I hope you will share this Visible Monday and Monday Mingle linkup's with all the lovely ladies who share their beautiful selves with us each week.
So that is a single scarf you're wearing? I love how the color completely morphs. I like your portrait too, you've got a lovely smile, Debbi. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday and say "hey" to Harry for me : >
ReplyDeleteDebby...you look so good! This is a fun outfit and your complexion is beautiful. Family portraits are so much fun to have...have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYour portrait photo is lovely! The sparkle on the jacket and tassels on the scarf are such nice accents.
ReplyDeleteDebbi, I really like the pretty color palette!
ReplyDeleteI like that portrait snippet because it really shows the beautiful highlights and shine of your hair. The scarf is great, especially with all those fangling dangling bits, and the sparkles in your jacket and colour of your trousers really add to that jewel effect. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty color combo! Scarf is lovely and the jacket, rocks!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely portrait photo!
Thank you for sharing your story of FarLeyJoE.

Debbi, I love this color combination! Just like a gorgeous sunset. I can never find enough mustardy gold colored clothing items or accessories for that matter. You look great!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love the sparkle in your jacket - the burgundy and yellow look awesome together.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning scarf, and I love the way you styled it with the colors of everything else. Fab jacket, too!
ReplyDeleteThose fabulous dingle-dangles and sparkly trim would have me dancing all day, and in animal-print shoes yet! Debbi, you look so awesome!! Gorgeous portrait - how lovely to see the warmth of your smile a little closer.
ReplyDeletePsh! I think you're totally glowing. <3 You're beautiful Debbi! That is a kick ass jacket and the tassled scarf is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had professional photos done since I was a teen. I graduated early and didn't even do senior pictures, wedding ones were done by a family member. I am also glad my photog doesn't charge me - I'm afraid he'd be terribly expensive. ;)
You're too cute. I love your jacket. Beautiful picture of you (the cropped one).
ReplyDeleteLove the jacket and the scarf. New follower and over in the over 50 girls club :-}
ReplyDeleteThat is one cute outfit! I love how you've coordinated the yellow and purple and then added that embellished jacket and the print shoes.

ReplyDeleteYou look really sharp in this outfit, Debbi. The color combinations, textures, lights and darks, all of it looks great together. And you look radiant and happy too.
ReplyDeleteI'm a tassel lover, so am enjoying your scarf and how it plays with the color of your leggings. It's great to see a close up of your beautiful face!
ReplyDelete"Shimmer at Sunset".....Well, Debbi, you're coming up with some lovely titles! I'm going to have to hire you as my ghost writer. I do love the shimmer and colors in this outfit. Love that smile too. You look happy.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking what Lisa said...you were so worried about your titles but I love that one!! ;o) That jacket is too awesome, love it, and of course you look beautiful as always.

Nope ... you really are glowing! This may be my favorite of your outfits yet. Elegant and precise title, Debbi. You look beautiful as always.
ReplyDeletePlease don't underestimate the importance of daily skin care no matter your age. If you are uncertain of how to take care of your personal skin specific needs, please consult a qualified licensed skin consultant or dermatologist. No matter what your age you can have clear and soft skin free of blemish and spots. I am not a beauty professional, I am an attorney whose life was turned upside down when I learned I had systemic sclerosis. I value my skin and take very good care of it; but then I always did but now even more so out of necessity. I encourage everyone to look their best including skin care and clothing. As far as makeup, that goes without saying along with good skin care. You can look amazing with the right kind of makeup and take care of your skin at the same time. Skin care and pride in appearance is just part of the total package of a great looking woman of any age. I do love your blog. :)
ReplyDeleteOooh fantastic colours in this outfit, Debbi! The scarves and sequins are the perfect accessories (love them together). You look very casual chic but with a side dish of glitz, my dear!

Wonderful colours! I love the burgundy jeans and that is a fab jacket. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteDebbi, you clearly have fantastic skin, and look much younger than your stated age (we say stuff like that in the legal field...lol). I love the bright jeans and the sparkle in your scarf.
ReplyDeleteDebbi, I really like the slightly Morrocan feel this out fit has with the little janglies and glittery bits. I am a real magpie and am attracted to anything shiny. But I especially like how the colors work together. I may have to use that color scheme for a painting! And welcome to purple shampoo. I quite like what it does to the white hairs on my scalp.
