Looks like fall

My outfit for today looks more like fall than winter with its fallen leaves colors. It was in the 60's today so we could do outdoor pictures.  I will be glad when I get my hair grown out a bit longer. It started really short, so it has grown a lot, but it is now at one of those stages where it drives me a bit nutty because the sides are shorter than the back. I have been tossing around the idea of going darker. My natural color was a medium brown. What do you think?

Me and Harry
I think I had picked up a bug of some sort right after Christmas. Today was the first day that I felt back to normal. This time of year it seems like there are so many things going around and no matter how clean I keep my hands I seem to be inclined to catch whatever is out there. I hope all of you are staying well!

  1. Very cute blouse. I really like the ruffles. And those boots are adorable.
You have quite a puppy there!
Hope you are feeling better. So far our house has been virus free.

  2. Sorry you were sick. I had it too, and just now feel like my normal self. I love your hair lighter - of course, you'll look great in a darker color too, but I really like the highlighted blonde on you (just mho of course). And as always, I adore that face of Harry's. He is so handsome : >

  5. I like your blond hair. I LOVE your Harry. I wanted to go darker too but my hairdresser convinced me to let the gray blend in as highlighter to my bleached blond hair. The color works and it is healthier & less costly because I only have my hair dyed every 6 weeks. If I were using darker dye I'd need the roots touched up much more often. So I'm enjoying the blond tresses.
I got the bug last night: runny nose, sore throat Downing lots of Gan Mao Link, Ying Chau & EchinaceaGoldenSeal. Had acupuncture treatment today. Feeling better!

  7. I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well, but glad you're getting back to normal.
I love the ruffles and colors in your blouse.
    And Harry looks very handsome.
I'm always in a dilemma about my hair. Hubby likes it long and blond , even though he encourages me to do what makes ME happy... so that helps me make up my indecisive mind.
I tried going back to my natural dark brown color a few years ago, but the lighter color somehow makes me feel "lighter" in mood and more bouyant in spirit....if that makes sense. But that's just me.

  8. I'm always up for a little color change. Are you thinking darker as it light brown instead of dark blond?

  12. LOVE your blouse!!! The whole outfit is great!! Love Harry, too! What a great pup! "They" (one of these days I'll figure out who "they" is!) say as we age we should go lighter vice darker..mainly because the pigment in our skin (facial skin) changes..I know at almost 50 mine sure has changed..I might suggest what was suggested to me...add some "low lights" vice high lights..every other coloring I do this (alternate high & low)..I have no idea what your eye color is but...Redken has a great blonde/apricot color (at salons who feature Redken). Hugs, Karen

  13. Debbie--I love the last photo. I know what you mean about your hair driving you nutty. I've been growing mine out for months and it is now the winter static in it that is driving me nuts. My own color is so washed out. I'll bet a darker shade would look nice on you and give your hair some shine.

  16. Hi-Found you blog awhile ago and never comment, but for this one time, I'm going to! The first thing when I clicked on your blog was the thought that if you were on What Not to Wear and they do the make over portion, they would totally color your hair to a different shade......now what shade would be better is probably left to a professional....but I know you would look alot more polished and age appropriate with an update....Just my two cents worth! Enjoy 2012
