So, for Visible Monday at Not Dead Yet Style and Monday Mingle at Bon Bon Rose Girls, here I am in my floral pants.

I still have not heard from the Doctor about my knee. I know they are busy, but gosh, it is hard waiting.
Please visit Visible Monday and Monday Mingle to see what everyone is wearing. I so look forward to seeing what everyone has put together. For me, it's like viewing a real world fashion magazine spread every Monday. What fun!
I think they would make anyone happy and your smile certainly does!! You styled them beautifully...I also mingled with florals today..great minds think alike!! Hope your knee is better soon...
ReplyDeleteI think they're perfect, at least in these photos. I wouldn't change a thing. I also love the outfit, how the pants get a chance to shine, so to speak. I tend to like a simple top with a more dramatic bottom, so it's no surprise I love this look!
ReplyDeleteI think those floral pants are pretty cool. I see that it is warm enough to take photos outside, YaY! Where is your cute furry sidekick?
ReplyDeleteLove those pants! In your next post I would like to see your hair pulled back and you in a dress!! BOW CHICA WOW WOW!! ;-) Don't be scared...GO FOR IT!! Kiah
ReplyDeleteLoving the navy with the floral print:)

I love this floral mix, Debbi, and I don't think I'd change the length of the pants. They look great here with your flats. I am glad you got the floral trousers, they really say Spring, and Fun! Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday : >
ReplyDeleteI think you look very cute in the pants! The fit seems fine to me, and you've done a nice job with styling the ensemble around them.
ReplyDeleteYour pants are lovely - and the length is fine with your ballet flats. I also love your necklaces and the frilly top. Altogether it's a really cute outfit!
ReplyDeleteHi, visiting from Bon Bon Rose Girls. I love those Talbots pants. I also think they look pretty good as-is. I found them to be too big in the thigh as well. Maybe if you get them pinned, you can also pin the length to see if you want it shorter. You'll know once they're pinned if you want/need alterations.
ReplyDeleteFabulous pants and they look perfect the way that they are. Who cares what people think if they make you happy - just like you said. Love the pants with your black flats.
ReplyDeleteThese floral pants are very on trend right now, aren't they? And you look great. I wouldn't change the length of them either. I think they look perfect. This length of pant is actually on my summer to buy list. The more cropped pants (which I do have and will probably go ahead and wear) make my legs look shorter and stubbier I think. I'm thinking more near ankle length, like yours, will be more flattering on me....even though my mind still reverts to "high waters" thinking too. haha
ReplyDeleteCute! I think I'd look into getting the legs fitted because it will affect how the length looks. I like the idea of ankle pants, but like you remember that dreaded "high water" phrase. I find balancing a fitted leg with a cropped length makes it look intentionally ankle length rather than accidental.
ReplyDeleteLove that pants! Time to show them off! Happy Easter Monday!

Whoa! Love those pants!
ReplyDeleteThe pants are fantastic! Kudos to you for wearing them out and about. I've been searching for such pants in the thrifts, without any luck. If you have a sewing machine, I would look into having them tailored. I know what you mean about the discomfort with the length, I have the same hang-up.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun pants! I would take them up a titch so that they look deliberately cropped rather than "are they?" or "aren't they?"
ReplyDeleteAWESOME pants!! I would take them up a bit to emphasize the cropped look!!
ReplyDeleteI think the pants are beautiful! I think you're on to something regarding the length....maybe hemmed just a bit (not capri length) but styled more like cigarette pants. I think they'd be fabulous like that and you might feel more comfortable wearing them. Gorgeousness all around! Hugs to you! ~Serene

ReplyDeleteNice pants!
ReplyDeleteI like the length and fit. The print is flattering. I don't think I'd fool with the lines of the pants. If the leg is too slim it just makes your middle look rounder.
Cool pants - and they were on sale? I like the dark background with the floral. I think it's a good shape pant for that print, and it looks like an easy leg to shorten if you want.
ReplyDeleteI love your floral trousers - the print is fabulous! Good for you for getting them - I've been converted to floral print trousers too!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pants!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI just score 4 more pair (2 floral) - (1 plaid) - (1 circles) the other day for 3 bucks each! I'm sooo excited! You'll all be so burned out this summer, lol!
Hugs

oohh...nice floral pants, what a great find! I love them, I'm looking around for one too. I think if you are unsure about how to alter it, it's best to keep it as it is. I have altered my clothes before and wish I hadn't. The outfit looks great on you, very cute ruffles jacket. I like the mary jane flats too, very pretty pair. I like the simple accessorizing too, just right for the outfit. I know how waiting can be so torturous, I pray that your knees will be alright and doesn't require surgery. God bless yoU!
