Thank you all for your kindness.
I need to get back into a routine and spend more time with my blog and viewing all of your blogs. I certainly enjoy Visible Monday and Monday Mingle and seeing what everyone is wearing. Today I received an email from Saks titled "Leather is now a year round option." Really? When it is 104 degrees in the shade? Who would really want to wear it now? That is what I like about our linkups--we get to see what is really being worn in different parts of the world. I don't think a $2400 perforated leather dress is what I would wear even if I could afford to purchase it.
My outfit for today is certainly visible. In the sunshine the sequins really sparkle! I did decide that I needed to wear a cotton tank rather than a synthetic tank. It is just too warm to layer two synthetics.

Please join Patti at Not Dead Yet Style for Visible Monday 55. I hope you all have a lovely Monday.
I am so sorry about Jada! Missing you. I have to get back into my routine of visiting blogs too. The days just seem to get shorter and shorter! Kiah
ReplyDeleteHope you are managing to keep cool in that heat.
ReplyDeleteLinen, cotton over leather even though it's perforated!
Sending hugs,
Hostess
Glad you're doing a bit better, Debbi!! Ross can be really hit or miss-and it can vary from store to store.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the outfit--looks so nice and cool in this ungodly heat!
Perforated leather dress??? Only if I want to look like a sausage!
Harry is just TOO CUTE sitting on the step like that!
What a cute photo of you and Harry together. You look great in this tunic and white pants too! Nice to see you posting again.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back. Love the pic of you and Mr. Harry. You look cool and comfortable in white and sparkles. Nix to the perforated leather. Guess they don't step outside the AC very often!
ReplyDeleteI really like the light over white look, Debbi - you look cool, even if you don't truly *feel* it : > Harry is adorable sitting on the step. Thanks so much for linking up to Visible Monday!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely outfit and the top is beautiful! I have to say I wear leather all year round because in London it is cold enough. Hope you are feeling better and healing over the loss of Jada, it took my parents a while to get over the loss of their dog - nice to meet Harry!
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely today, Debbi! Hang in there with Ross...I usually go there first for shoes! Ask about their over 50 discounts!
ReplyDeletegorgeous tunic!

I am very happy to see Harry in the photo with you. LOVE those white jeans! They look great on you. Welcome back.
ReplyDeleteAre you one of the half of half preferred shoppers? I've started getting their e-mails and coupons, but have not ventured back in to the store. I love this top--and you are looking very fresh and summery in spite of the temps we've been having. I'm like you and don't think of leather as summer wear!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I LOVE your accessories!! The whole outfit looks great. I really like your style. And the accessories add the perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteA perfect summertime outfit and you look smashing in it! Nice accessories too!! Love all that silver.
ReplyDeleteDebbi, I have not been visiting blogs like I would like to lately due to circumstances beyond my control, but I wanted to tell you how sorry I am to hear about your sweet Jada. I thought about you even though I didn't get a chance to visit and today I found out. Truly sorry for your pain. On another note... your smile is just fabulous and who doesn't love some sequins! Your accessories are great and I see those cute little toenails poking out too, so don't think they went unnoticed! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit late to offer my condolences -- I've been on an internet break until just recently -- but I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing pets is so hard.
ReplyDeleteThat top is gorgeous! I love this light colored look. The sequins are a perfect bit of shine to really make this outfit ethereal. Harry is such a camera ham! I love it.
ReplyDeleteLove that top on you and those are some truly fabulous jeans! What does Harry do if he catches the flies?
ReplyDeleteThis top is gorgeous. Are those little sequence shimmering on it? So pretty.
ReplyDeleteHarry cracks me up sitting on that step. :)
Nice top and nice dog.

I really love the white, it looks so sophisticated and cool! Summer is so short here and I try to do a lot so I haven't been reading blogs either........need to make time for that too.
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit. It looks clean and fresh...perfect for the hot summer days!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a lovely tunic! These colours make you look very cool, unlike any leather garment ever could on a hot summer's day!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your dog Jada. I hope Harry brings you some consolation.
So very sorry about Jada. Somehow when a pet is sick or we are sick, the bond seems to become even stronger.
ReplyDeleteI like Ross for linens, but despair of them for clothes.
Jada was part of your family and I wish you comfort during this time of grief. I love your sparkly top with white background. You look like summer.
