Not what I thought it would look like

Today's outfit might have worked if I had some of the cool gold coated denim jeans. I thought it looked pretty good until I looked at the pictures and then I wasn't so happy with it. The jacket has dark gold metallic threads forming the flowers. I usually roll the sleeves up because they are always too long for me. It seems as though manufacturers today make the sleeves on everything really long. When I was younger, sleeves and pant lengths fit me perfectly.  I guess people are changing size, but I am not (well, I am, but not in the arm and leg length.)

Jacket: Chico's
Top: Talbot's
Jeans: JMS
Shoes: Tom's

I hope this next picture doesn't gross you out too much. Harry came over and sat up to give me a kiss on the chin. It was such a special moment. He usually doesn't do things like this. What a sweet boy he is.

If this isn't love, I don't know what is.
Necklace: Forever 21
Here is a closeup of my hair. It is getting long enough to wear with side hair combs. I used to wear combs a lot until I started wearing my hair really short. Now I will be wearing them again. These combs are by France Luxe and are really nice, well made hair combs. They also sell other hair accessories such as headbands, barrettes, and clips.
I think that by the end of the summer my hair should be grown out like I want in a medium length bob. It takes a really long time to grow hair out and a whole heap of patience.

  4. Great necklace, and sweet doggie. Ours are "kissers" and love to give us a little lick on the chin or nose.

  5. Pants and sleeves are also usually too long on me (or way too short). However tailors are a girl's best friend. I also love your necklace.

  6. I quite like your outfit. the closeup photo shows how beautiful the design is and how much it matches your top and necklace.
Who wouldn't love a dog named Harry! Don't tell my son that because his name is Harry too!

  7. Great close-up on the hair! It blends nicely.

Shortening sleeves is not something I can do at home. There is a fellow in my neighborhood who does alternations charges $15. When I try on jackets that need shorter sleeves I add $15 to the price.

I like that material, would you consider gray pants?

  12. It's all about the details - the hair combs, the necklace and a kiss from your beautiful dog.

  13. Waiting for your hair to grow out is like melting an iceberg with a candle. It is so frustrating! Been there, done that, gone nuts!

  14. I had a male Pomerianian dog. He was the only male in my life at the time that would listen to me! He would crawl up on top of the couch and climb around my neck like a cat. Miss that dog. I love the blue embroidered jacket and think a gray or lighter wash jeans will give you a long and lean line. I also like the embroidered camel jacket that is longer. I think it is so pretty on you. Dont worry about the back view you are a woman with curves. You should celebrate that.

  15. I forgot to comment on your hair. I would like to see a style that emphasizes your eyes. You have pretty eyes. I think growing it to an angled bob with side swept bangs will be flattering. I love the colors you put in it. My two cents
