What I wore for a trip to Sephora

Sephora opened a new store here in May and I absolutely love it. It is so fun to go in and try different products and just look around. Today I went in to get some nail polish and ended up with several items. One of them is Perfect Formula Pink Gel Coat. The associates raved about it and said one customer had bought it a month ago and put it on one hand to see if it really performed. According to them the difference in her nails on that hand and the other was amazing. It is a bit expensive so I hope it really does do something. I have been admiring manicures on so many other bloggers that I decided I wanted to try to start polishing my nails. We shall see how it goes. I love shellac manicures but can no longer afford to pay what they cost to maintain. I do not expect this to perform like a shellac manicure, but if it really does strengthen my nails and provide a good polish base it will be worth it. It has very good reviews online.

I will probably not be posting again until Monday. I want to enjoy the holiday with my husband and family. I wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving. It is a lovely time to reflect on all the things we are thankful for in our lives. One of the things I am very thankful for is all of you!!

  1. Happy Thanksgiving to you too! That's a wonderful scarf, and looks great with your jacket.

  2. great pics!!! your outfits adorable.. nice post!!! kissess!!!

  3. Pretty jacket Debbi! Isn't Sephora fun? I like how you can try things out without being high pressured at a counter like in a department store. I used to get my nails done too, but when I calculated how much it cost me over a year I stopped.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends.

  4. What a gorgeous scarf! Weigh in about the polish after using it for awhile. I'm not much for a manicure, but I could use something to strengthen my nails.

  5. Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope that you enjoy your family time. It's a great time to focus on friends and loved ones as they are what make our world joyful.

Like Megan, I am interested how that polish works.

  6. Nice pants. I love corduroy pants around the winter holidays.

  7. Please let us know about the polish - my nails are paper-thin and break like crazy, so I need something *really* good. You look great in your structured jacket and that fabulous scarf. Hope your Thanksgiving is very happy : >

  8. I've also decided to make it a point to stay on top of manicuring my seems to take over and I don't get it done. One goal of mine is to manage my time better to get everything done that I want. Good for you to start treating yourself to painting your nails! It really does make a difference! Feels more polished! (Pun intended! :) Hugs! ~Serene

  9. Hi Debbi!
You look great and i hardly ever wear polish. I can't afford to have my nails "done" and honestly if I could, I wouldn't. (too lazy!)
I just wanted to send you a very special thanks for your support. I am a terrible writer-backer and am always trying to do better, but it doesn't mean I don't appreciate it. Far from it!
You are so special to me and after the first of the year, if you want, I'd like to interview you? I pick a very few each year and you are an inspiring blogger I'd love to feature. Don't let me forget, my mind isn't what it used to be!
    Thanks so much,

  10. Hope the nail polish works for you and that you had a great Thanksgiving!

  11. This velvet blazer looks great on you Debbi!

  12. Oh, I hope you had a nice time with family. Please publish progress since the adventure with your fingernails, I would like to know if the treatment is worth .. And I need to tell you I'm DYINGN for your velvet jacket. OMG!!!!
