Blue Wednesday

It is another hot day and I am tired of summer. I usually love summer, even the hot days, but this year I am just worn out from the heat and humidity. My asthma has been bothering me all summer which makes me tired and just kind of blue. I just didn't put much effort into this outfit I wore when I went to lunch with my one of my best friends. We had barbeque at one of the best places in Wichita, Delano BBQ. They make the best onion rings in Wichita and maybe Kansas. I didn't eat them today as even a small order is too much for me to eat by myself.

Me and Harry

I had to add this picture of me and Harry because it was just too cute not to. He loves being in the middle of the picture taking and today he was really determined to get me to pay attention to him.

  1. Navy and turquoise are such a great combination, nicely executed!

I know I sure couldn't endure the heat you all have experienced this summer.

  2. I am right there with you...I am more tired of summer this year than every before. But, summer is a great time to wear turquoise and your did it well!

  3. I am loving your "blues" together. And Harry, of course, puts a smile on my face every time he shows up : >

  4. I really love all your's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm with you on the heat....just tired of it! Sweaty Hugs! ~Serene

  5. Yes, I wish you could order onion rings by the ring! I was so surprised that it was a F21 item that most caught my eye in this post. We need to go jewelry shopping together.

  6. You always look so well put together...even on the days that you think you don't! I too am sick of the heat! I am eagerly anticipating winter!!! So sorry to hear about your allergies. I don't know what that is like but my hubby gets allergy shots because his are so bad. Glad you and your friend were able to meet up. It is so nice to just talk and chill out with a friend. Those onion rings sound YUM! Kiah

  7. Very classic pairing. I love turquoise jewelry. Your pup looks so happy to see you and get your attention.

Re: Frye boots - They're really great boots, but they are a pain in the patootie to get broken in. I've had mine since spring I think and even after wearing them a bunch. They still beat me up more than they get beat up. They're definitely made to last. My suggestion - try some on in store, then hunt them down on ebay for the size and style you want that are pre-owned.

  8. Awwww, Harry! So sweet!

I SO love how you wear your necklaces. I wish I could figure out how to pull off the multiple necklace look. Whenever I try it, I always think it just looks like I had a "senior moment" and put 2 on by mistake. (Maybe the secret is that you need more than 2? I'd better go shopping!) You do it so well, though. You really have an eye for what will work together. You're inspiring me to try!

  9. Lovely clothes! Blue is my favorite color when it's hot, it seems that it looks cool, love your jewelry today, all so coordinated, especially the clock caught my attention ... so cute and original!
